The Department shall be responsible for the following, among others:

• Coordinate the Audit of all Examinations results (Semester and Supplementary Examinations) of all undergraduates and Postgraduate students in the University;
• Coordinate the Audit of all Examinations results and admission requirements of all graduating students of all Institutions affiliated to KNUST;
• Facilitate the presentation of audit reports to the Colleges and IDL Boards and ensure that all suggested corrections are effected;
• Coordinate and facilitate the Audit of all requests for Administrative Approvals and recommend same to the Vice-Chancellor for approval or otherwise;
• Coordinate the Audit of all requests of reinstatements and recommend to Academic Board for approval or otherwise; and,
• Coordinate the presentation of the Examinations Audit Report to the Academic Board for consideration.
